Sharon Katz, APN

Sharon has a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health from University of Medicine and Dentistry, Newark, NJ, and is a certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Sharon has been providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals with psychiatric and mental health conditions for over 36 years. Over the course of her career, she has gained extensive experience in conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and prescribing medications. Her clinical approach emphasizes holistic care, integrating both pharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventions to address the unique needs of each patient.

In previous roles, Sharon had the opportunity to work with diverse populations, including adults and adolescents, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
