JFS Financial Assistance
At Jewish Family Service, we understand that there are families and individuals who struggle to meet financial obligations. The JFS Financial Assistance Program provides a subsidy for clinical services provided at JFS, for residents of Clifton and Passaic, or clients currently participating in one of our grant funded programs.
The amount of assistance is based upon family/household size and verified annual income, which is updated annually using the poverty guidelines published by the U.S Census Bureau. Subsidies are available and calculated using a formula for patients at or below 400% of the federal poverty level (FPL).
All clients must complete the Financial Assistance Worksheet and provide 2 recent paystubs as well as a recent tax return relevant for all members of the household in order for financial assistance to be considered.
