Hispanic Victims of Domestic Violence

Dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and linguistically accessible support services for survivors of domestic violence and victims of other crimes. HVDV offers comprehensive care including crisis interventions, case management, legal support, and solution-focused theraphy.

PALS

Peace: A learned Solution

Using the trasformative power of creative arts, PALS facilitates healing for children whi have witnessed domestic violence. Through the six-months structured therapeutic program, children learn how to apply peaceful solutions to conflict through art, play, and movement therapies, and assist the child’s healijg and help process the trauma.

PALS

Paz: Una Solución Aprendida

Usando el pode trasformador de las artes creativas, PALS facilita la sanción de niños que han sido testigos de violencia doméstica. A través de un programa terapéutico estructurado por seis meses, los niños aprenden a aplicar soluciones pacificas as los conflictor por medio del arte, el juego y las terapias de movimiento, lo cual les ayuda en su proceso de sanción y a superar el trauma vivido.
