Now more than ever, individuals and families are turning to Jewish Family Service during the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.
Now more than ever, JFS is turning back to our community so we can continue to provide these essential services for those in need.
Join us as we launch our 9 Days “Strategies for Dealing with Suffering” project. JFS has a long history of helping others cope with trauma and the trauma of Jewish History. The current trauma calls upon our skills and resources, and we’re using this opportunity to share these resources with our community.
This is your chance to virtually meet some of our therapists who have been working tirelessly since the COVID-19 pandemic began to ensure that the life saving services of JFS remain available to our community. Their work has included tele-therapy, assisting over 100 community members in obtaining unemployment and other government benefits, keeping our seniors connected by regular phone calls and online programming, and maintaining our food pantry. None of these services can continue without your help.
Tune in to our daily messages during this time of introspection and charitable giving. Throughout the 9 Days, which is a period of achdus, please find it in your hearts and donate generously to JFS so that we can continue to support our neighbors, our friends and our family.
