Martha Hay, LSW
Martha has a Master’s Degree from Rutgers University, where she focused her training on children and families. She has extensive experience working with parents of children with special needs and survivors of domestic violence. In addition, she has worked in the special education system of many public schools, providing therapeutic services for autistic children. Her excellent work was formally recognized by the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders and Advisory Council on Disability when she received the Champions of Disabilities Award in 2014. At JFS, Martha provides individual and family therapy/counseling, utilizing an eclectic treatment approach. Martha also provides individual and family therapy, and child centered and directive play therapy for PALS (Domestic Violence Program). Martha often participates in administrative and clinical meetings to discuss cases, develop intervention plans for clients and conduct intakes and assessments.
