Cynthia Guzman, MSW
Cynthia received her B.A. in Psychology from Montclair State University and her MSW from Rutgers University, as well as a certificate for the Violence Against Women and Children program. She has been working in the social service field for five years and has experience working in the urban communities with the non-privileged population as a health educator. As a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish), Cynthia works with children, teens and families at JFS and PALS, where she provides family and individual counseling. She enjoys working at JFS because she sees it as a way to give back to the organization that helped when she was in crisis, and because she has a deep passion to help families in a time of need.
