Amy Nevo, MS
Amy graduated from the Touro College of Health Sciences with an M.S. in School Psychology. She has since served as a Preschool Director in general education and a School Psychologist at a special needs school. At JFS, Amy provides individual and group counseling, focusing on social skills training for children and teens. She works on implementing and creating behavior plans for those struggling socially so they can maintain a healthy and well adjusted life style, allowing them to flourish and strive for success. In addition Amy administers psycho-educational evaluations for children aged 6-16. Amy enjoys working at JFS, where she can directly assist the community in the everyday struggles that parents and children encounter in school, home or on the playground.
Amy is the Project LEAH inclusion coordinator. She is responsible for overseeing our volunteer in-home respite services for Passaic-Cliton families with children with disabilities.
